Walvis Bay meets Port of Amsterdam March 2012

The Walvis Bay Corridor Group paid a working  visit on 13 March 2012 to Amsterdam to promote the utilization of transport corridor networks in Southern-Africa. The Namibian delegation discussed and exchanged valuable experiences with the Port of Amsterdam, followed by an engaging boat ride allowing for the delegation to observe port developments. 

A matchmaking event in the afternoon attracted a number of diverse Dutch companies active in the field of international shipping, transport, ICT, innovation and logistics. The overall programme encouraged closer cooperation between Walvis Bay, The Netherlands and SANEC.
